Height x width: 1 to 3 feet tall and 1 foot wide
Growth habit: Upright
Foliage: Alternate, oval, 4 to 8 inches long leaves are pubescent, rosette-forming. Sticky and strongly scented.
Flowers: Short racemes with a few flowers each. Flowers are tubular with a long, slender throat, 2 to 4 inches long, in various shades of red, pink, lime, yellow or white. Older varieties have sweet fragrance but some of the newer ones are unscented
Culture: Full sun or partial shade and well-drained, moist soil. Reseeds.
Uses: Border, bedding plant, cut flowers. Flowering tobacco is a cousin to N. tabacum, smoking tobacco, and the juice of the leaves is poisonous.
