Height x width: 2 feet tall and wide
Growth habit: Clump
Foliage: Evergreen, leathery, dark green, once-pinnate fronds. Lance shaped pinnae are bristly serrated and resemble little Christmas stockings. The stipe and rachis are quite chaffy. Tan spores are crowded in rows on the undersides of the fertile pinnae.
Culture: Partial shade and moist, well-drained soil is ideal
Uses: Border plant for shady, moist sites. Cut fronds used in floral arrangements
Propagation: Spores or division
