Subject: Response from to Muhly Grass Muhlenbergia capillaris Pink Muhly Grass
Comments: Muhlenbergia capillaris is a touchy grass for Cincinnati. There are a few examples of it growing in our area but not for several years in a row. I would not recommend it unless you just wanted to play around with it and see how it does. For best success I would plant it in the spring, in full sun, and with excellent drainage, planted in well draining soil. Steve
